Video Analysis from your camera footage

Here at Street Behaviour Surveys we pride ourselves in capturing footage with our own HD cameras however we understand that there is a requirement from our UK and International clients to capture their own video footage and then send this to us for processing and analysis. (We're more than happy to assist in any way we can)


Video Requirements for Standard Camera Analysis

1. The Camera View: Ensure our trained analysts can see the entire area

2. Marked up Screenshot: For clarity we request a marked up screenshot from your video footage. This assists with fully understanding our clients instructions

3. Camera Heights: Standard cameras can be erected anywhere between 4m - 12m. For drone footage we can work with up to 40m

4. Camera Positioning: Try avoid street furniture that may obscure the sight lines. If you're not using HD cameras try avoid unlit areas and avoid direct positioning into the sun

5. Camera Quality: The better the quality of the footage the more accurate the outputs. (We pride ourselves on 97% accuracy)

Q: Can you process and analyse videos recorded anywhere in the world?
A: Yes, if you have the internet connection to upload the videos onto the cloud and supply us with the link we will do the rest.

Q: How much footage could you process and analyse within a day?
A: We have the capacity to process and analyse 500 hours of video footage per day with an accuaracy of 97%

Q: Do I need any special cameras? Can you work without HD cameras?
A: In short, no you don't need to buy any special cameras or camera equipment. Our fully trained and experienced analysts can easily extract traffic data from your videos.

Q: Do you use AI (artifical intelligence) to carry out your analysis?
A: No we dont. We have a very experienced team of 25 very analysts who pride themselves on high levels of accurancy combined with quick turn around times.

Q: How do I know my data is secure with you?
A: GDPR compliant. Full deletion of the video after sign off from the client.

Q: Do you analyze videos from night-time or difficult weather conditions like rain or snow?
A: Yes, we manage all of these conditions.Our staff have been trained for these difficult conditions. If your eye can recognise the object in the video, we can too.

Q: How experienced is your team of analysts?
A: The team consists of highly motivated individuals who have extensive knowledge in various data collection techniques. We are highly experienced and qualified to undertake ALL data counting, analysis and survey projects.
